Program/Project Manager (Level 1, 2, 3)
  • Manages all aspects of the program/project
  • Responsible for resource allocation, schedule and product delivery
  • Ensures that user requirements are well known and documented
  • Prepares detailed program/project plans
  • Measures, manages, and presents program/project status and progress against milestones
  • Identifies and mitigates risk
  • Communicates emerging risks to project sponsors
  • Prepares written summaries and detailed program/project reports and communicates program/project status to the management teams
Team/Task Leader (Level 1, 2)
  • Manages the daily activities of a small technical team
  • Performs all management functions, including supervision of team members and management of the technical process
Principle Database Management Specialist
  • Responsible for the management of a single, large (or several smaller) database(s) management systems including relational database
  • Posesses superior technical and database managerial skills; fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the program(s) under their management
  • Plans and develops programs/projects; analyzes user requirements; prepares system design; develops system implementation and operation plans; establishes and maintains configuration baselines; develops user training programs; prepares budgets; conducts and/or supports reverse engineering and data modeling activities
  • Coordinates, reviews and supervises work of assigned staff
  • Reviews/oversees preparation of all related documentation; conducts program reviews, meetings, etc.
  • Works independently under general guidelines or objectives set by supervisor
  • Employs a high degree of creativity, foresight and judgment to plan, organize, and guide programs
  • Experience with third-party database tools through such vendors as BMC Software, Quest Software, and Embarcadero
Senior Database Management Specialist

  • Possesses demonstrates technical and managerial skills; fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the program(s) under their management

  • Performs a broad range of tasks associated with the design, implementation and operation of database management systems
  • Uses own knowledge and information relative to the technical or administrative aspects of the program to perform and and/or support system analysis and design activities
  • Implements system designs; tests, troubleshoots and maintains installed systems; performs data retrieval; develops and implements user training; provides user on-line support; prepares system related documentation; develops/supports system enhancements; designs database applications using specific programs
  • Participates in meetings, design reviews, briefings, etc.; identifies and reports on issues or related problems and potential risks; recommends risk mitigation actions
  • Works independently under general guidelines or objectives set by supervisor; modifies and/or adapts techniques and standard approaches to solve moderately difficult problems encountered
  • Experience with third-party database tools through such vendors as BMC Software, Quest Software, and Embarcadero
Network Administraton
  • Supports the networking environment
  • May be asked to perform backup and recovery processes, monitor and manage network capacity, and recommend infrastructure, including hardware and software changes and manage the upgrade process
Business Process Specialist (Level 1, 2, 3)
  • Analyzes business systems and processes and develops implementationand conversion strategies
  • Works effectively with the user and management teams and the integration team to implement solutions
Computer Systems Analyst (Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
  • Analyzes user systems and processes and formulates development requirements
  • Works effectively with the user team and the development team and documents and articulates requirements
