RGI Hosted SaaS Model
This model is to support those clubs that want to outsource the hosting, infrastructure, and support of these applications to a trusted vendor. This is typically of interest to small clubs that lack IT resources to support enterprise applications efficiently. MemberzPlusTM would be hosted on our enteprise level hardware in a fast, redundant, hardened facility. Pricing is based on the number of members.
Traditional License and Maintenance Model (or optional Dedicated Support)
This model is to support those clubs interested in a traditional license and maintenance support contract with their vendors. This can be hosted at Ross Group Inc, or hosted at the client's hosting facility. This is of interest to clubs of varying sizes and capabilities. We have a number of clubs under this model with club size ranging from 100,000 to 3,500,000.
A variation to this model includes the clubs ability to staff engineering support roles using RGI resources. This is for the larger clubs that want to have a dedicated support pool of RGI resources to support these mission critical applications. With this model we replace the maintenance component with a support license. RGI resources are dedicated to the club and support all implementation, maintenance, customizations, production support, and future merger/affiliate club implementation and support at the clubs direction.
Source Code Model
This model is designed to support those very large clubs that desire to internalize all IT functions including application programming and support. This allows those clubs to obtain the source code for their use with a “right to modify” license. The club is then free to customize the code for their use themselves and use RGI engineering resources only when desired, or not at all. This engagement will include a knowledge transfer to ensure the club is prepared to be self sufficient.
What's included in the license?
Regardless of the model selected, RGI provides an evaluation site at no charge. The evaluation site can be used by the club for an agreed upon period of time. The site is hosted at the RGI data center and available to the club via the internet. The site is “seeded” with “scrubbed” data from one of our current clubs of similar size, with their permission of course. This allows the evaluation to be done in a timely manner against familiar data of a similar size to the evaluating club.
After purchase, the club is fully entitled to run multiple environments under a single license as long as it is in support of the licensed club members. This includes running multi production nodes of the application against a centralized database to support application load balancing and failover.
What's included in the maintenance?
All major revision updates are covered under maintenance. These always include major new features and improvements.
