The relationship between Cimcool Global Industrial Fluids, Milacron Inc. and The Ross Group has been much more than a typical Customer/Service Provider relationship. For over eight Years, The Ross Group has been a trusted IT partner and an integral part of our IT staff. Our small staff of IT professionals was short on Oracle DBA experience and through the years The Ross Group has filled that void with reliable, timely, on-call and on-site professional support.

This is to thank you for the excellent work your DBA staff did on our recent migration to a new release of our ERP system, Impresa 7i3.2 by Avexus. We provided The Ross Group with migration scripts, migration documentation and application support, and then your DBA staff took complete stewardship of the DBA portion of this upgrade.

Our Impresa 7i3.2 Oracle database includes 1,107 tables with hundreds of views and stored procedures. The migration, which included a series of interim migrations, was performed in place, over a single weekend. It was nearly transparent with regard to our normal business schedule. On Friday second shift our users were using the old release of Impresa and on Monday morning they were using the new release.

Two days after the migration, the General Manager of Cimcool Global Industrial Fluids congratulated me on practically seamless upgrade to the new release of Impresa. Please congratulate Mark and your entire DBA crew for their excellent DBA work on this important upgrade project.
