Manufacturing Firm’s Appraisal System Improved using Microsoft SQL Server Database Technology
Dayton, Ohio, January, 2011 -- A Dayton manufacturing firm recently asked Ross Group to help them improve their employee appraisal system. The current system limited the managers and executives in their ability to effectively rate, provide improvement goals, and record progress for their employees. According to the Vice President of HR, the system did not convey the information to the employee correctly and it did not allow managers to focus accurately on the employee’s strengths and areas for improvement.
Ross Group’s IT Solutions Unit carefully documented and confirmed the vision for the enhancement, built it utilizing the Microsoft .NET framework and Microsoft SQL Server database technology and tested it in Ross Group’s development center with client collaboration and then integrated it seamlessly into the client’s HR system. Developed in under 2 months, the results were better than expected and the project was on-time and within budget.
